McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded an $8,097,570 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for one Core Thrust Reverser, three Quick Engine Change Kits, and miscellaneous Readiness Support Package spares in support of the C-17 aircraft. The Quick Engine Change Kit contains the components required to affix the engine to the aircraft. Solicitation issue date was July 1, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Aug. 31, 1998.
