General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $1,740,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for various quantities of approximately 500 line items of replenishment spares through December 2012 for the F110, F101, F118, and F108 series engines in support of the F-14, F-15, F-16, B-1, B-2, KC-135, and TR-1 aircraft. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This effort will support Air Force and Navy requirements and foreign military sales to Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Israel, and Bahrain. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 2012. Solicitation issue date was May 29, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Feb. 5, 1999.
