United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., was awarded on Feb. 5, 1999, a $14,637,600 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 12,000 Second Stage Vanes applicable to the F100PW220 engine on the F-16 aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. The contract calls for the delivery of 800 per month beginning Aug. 31, 1999, and continue at the rate of 800 per month thereafter until complete. Solicitation issue date was Nov. 23, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Dec. 22, 1998. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F34601-98-G-0005-SAJ5).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $188,957,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for advanced procurement of components, parts, and material, and associated effort in support of six F-22 aircraft. Lockheed Martin, Marietta, Ga., will perform 26 percent, The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., will perform 25 percent, and Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, will perform 49 percent.
