America bears up under new internet pressure

US stocks have moved out of a bear phase, and a number of stocks are recahing record price levels. There is a battle between stocks of software and media companies. Yahoo! has been able to buy content and use its opportunities to sell advertising. Traditional stocks can perform well, as is the case for General Motors. Intel is performing well, despite forecasts that it had reached a peak, and there is scope for further rises in Intel's stock price.
