An odd-on favourite
Article Abstract:
The spread betting market has expanded, and bets are offered on US and British stocks, and stocks from mainland Europe. Spread betting involves clients buying at higher ends of quotes or selling at lower ends, in line with how they see stock prices performing. Spread betting allows investors to make money from stock price falls as well as stock price rises. Investors can also make controlled risk bets which mean that there is an absolute limit placed on potential losses, due to stops being placed on positions.
