Article Abstract:
Never has it been more appropriate for businesses to reexamine creativity and the process of unlearning but now especially with the approach of a new millenium. Numerous business organizations are in a state of change and such time-honored values such as company loyalty are being questioned. Many may ask what value is there in unlearning. It may be defined as the prerequisite or threshold for creativity. Unlearning does not solve problems but provides conditions for their solutions. It also protects creative problem solvers from the fear of being labeled as odd or flaky.
