General Dynamics Ordnance System, Burlington, Vt., is being awarded a $35,418,691 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 2.75 inch Rocket Systems (for use on helicopters), for Taiwan, Mexico, Venezuela, and Columbia. Work will be performed in Burlington, Vt., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 18, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-95-C-0028).

Work will be performed in Lancaster, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on Dec. 17, 1997, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J.
