Article Abstract:
Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, Contract # DAAD05-99-D-7014; Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego, California, Contract # DAAD05-99-D-7015; and Harris Technical Services Corporation, Alexandria, Virginia, Contract # DAAD05-99-D- 7016, are each awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract. The combined contracts total dollar value is $75,000,000 with each contractor having a guaranteed minimum of $250,000. The contracts are for Engineering Support Services for the Army Research Laboratory. They are expected to be completed by March 3, 2004. Work will be performed at Columbus, Ohio; San Diego, Calif.; and Alexandria, Va. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 101 bids solicited on June 16, 1998, and 6 bids received. The contracting activity is the U. S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (TECOM).

Georgia Tech Research Institute, Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded a $1,880,000 increment as part of an estimated cumulative total $24,999,896 cost-level-of-effort contract for the continuation of critical support to the Ground Based Element Radar Project office and the Theater High Altitude Air Defense Project office in the areas of technology development efforts associated with radar development. Work will be performed in Atlanta, Ga., and is expected to be completed by March 7, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 22, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala. (DASG60-99-C-0006).
