Article Abstract:
Motorola Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., was awarded $11,000,000 on Feb. 25, 1999, as part of a $27,224,685 (total if all options are exercised), firm-fixed-price with cost-plus-incentive fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee line items contract for three Tactical Airspace Integration System units, training, software improvements, spares, user tests and contractor logistics support. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (60%) and Scottsdale, Ariz. (40%), and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 12, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-99-C-0060).
