KDI Precision Products Inc.*, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded $11,665,861 (base year total) as part of a $209,091,995 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for the production, load, and assembly of the M734A1 fuze used in the 120 mm battalion mortar system for the basic year quantity of 46,800. Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on May 28, 1998, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30-98-C-1110).
