Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $6,519,647 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise Option 1 for PATRIOT Classification, Discrimination, and Identification Phase III (CDI3) and concurrent spares for PATRIOT radar. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass. (35%); Waltham, Mass. (31%); Sudbury, Mass. (15%); Tewksbury, Mass. (10%); Quincy, Mass. (5%); and Bedford, Mass. (4%), and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 24, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-95-C-0446).

ITT Avionics Division, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a modification to a $30,000,000 time and materials contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) for services and materials in support of the Advanced Threat Radar Jammer. This effort is to extend the period of performance for an additional 24 months, which includes the added value of $10,000,000. Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 13, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-96-D-D602).
