Army advances cruise-missile defense program
Article Abstract:
The Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) is attempting to develop a low-cost interceptor for shooting down cruise missiles as they believe building cheap cruise-missile killers is important because of the proliferation of such technology. For achieving its goals, SMDC is working in coordination with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, which has studied options for low-cost cruise-missile defense.
