Army chief of staff enthused by V-22 osprey capability
Article Abstract:
The Osprey is designed to carry troops or equipment from ships to battlefields where there is no major, well-equipped airfield for landing and offloading. Gen. Peter Schoomaker, the Army chief of staff is interested in how the Osprey flight testing program progresses and he might consider the buying of a tilt-rotor aircraft, or the army might borrow Ospreys from the Marine Corps.

Sikorsky delivers presidential helicopter VH-92

Sikorsky Aircraft has delivered a specially modified Sikorsky helicopter called the VH-92, hoping that it would become the new Marine One, transporting the President of the United States. The enhanced safety, security, comfort and productivity features of the Sikorsky VH-92 are described.
