Audit fees and auditor dismissals in the Sarbanes-Oxley era
Article Abstract:
The relationship of higher audit fees and auditor dismissals after the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 is studied. Auditor dismissals are associated with higher audit fees, smaller companies, companies with going-concern reports, and those reporting material weaknesses in internal controls.

The students of Anteon Corp. at Fort Huachuca, Ariz. are not required to know how to take off or land a plane. This is because the aircraft that they operate, the Army's Shadow unmanned aerial Vehicle (UAVs) takes off and lands by itself.

Majority of new Humvees won't have armor: Zakheim

The new Humvees produced by U.S. are not equipped with armor. Only 818 out of 2413 new Humvees being produced will have armor. Dov Zakheim, the Pentagon comptroller states that no non-armored Humvees would be sent into combat zones.
