Article Abstract:
The experience of a scholarship winner going back to business school after many years and the first stage of University of Oxford Diploma in Financial Strategy is described. The students for the Diploma are from various backgrounds like an internal auditor from the Ugandan ministry of health and an M&A executive from Shell and the course promises to cover all business fundamentals and make students think and analyze.

The September course, Finance II of the University of Oxford Diploma in Financial Strategy program, takes a more qualitative approach, looking at the strategic implications of corporate financing decisions. For most students, this is at the core of a financial strategy course and gives them an opportunity to re-examine ideas with proper analytical rigor through case studies of business success and failure.
