Back to the future: cognitive ergonomics six years on
Article Abstract:
The knowledge of human factor engineering is formalized and useful in solving design problems. It was less formalized in 1989 and of little use in determining the performance of human-machine systems. But the engineering of human factors and its viability are areas that still require research. Determining the domains of work and the factors that constitute proper working within the domains are necessary. A review of different articles on ergonomics is presented.
