Frederick Cooper: over the rainbow
Article Abstract:
Frederick Cooper is a UK hardware and metal finishing concern which plans to enter the US market for housewares. The company has disposed of most of its electrical products business and has faced slow sales for architectural hardware. This has led to two businesses being closed, involving costs which have led to a drop in profit for 1994 to 1995. The company ranks second in the UK architectural hardware market and is increasing its market share. A pre-tax profit of 6.3 million pounds sterling is forecast for 1995 to 1996 by Williams de Broe.
