Baroid Corp
Article Abstract:
Baroid Corp stock has been hampered by pessimistic speculations from two influential oil field equipment analysts. James Stone has advised caution since the service pricing did not react accordingly to the rise in drilling rig rates in the Gulf of Mexico. Stone has added that another increase in natural gas prices could boost the stock. Kenneth Miller has also lowered his 1992 estimate for Baroid due to flat international market pricing. A 20-cent dividend is paid on the 74 million shares.

Tejas Gas Corp
Article Abstract:
Tejas Gas Corp showed satisfactory Sep 1992 quarter and nine-month figures as it prepares to exceed the $1.22 a share earning seen in 1991. CEO Jay Precourt expects a significant rise in earnings for 1993 as four long-term supply contracts commence. The company's earning and sales hikes are due to higher natural gas prices and volume sold. A $2.28 a share earning is estimated for 1993. Tejas has no dividends on the seven million shares.
