Article Abstract:
The Boeing Co. reported in 2006 that it successfully completed P-8A Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft (MMA) weapons separation wind tunnel test at the Arnold Air Force Base Engineering Development Center in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The tests validated Boeing predictions that the Navy-required P-8A weapons, which include torpedoes, missiles, and naval mines, would separate safely from the aircraft when launched during the flight.
