Boeing hunts abroad for super hornet sales

Boeing Co. and the service are putting efforts to sell the Pentagon's newest strike fighter to foreign customers to increase its F/A-18 E/F Super Hornets sales. The executives are conducting meeting on a monthly basis with the officials from the Navy's International Programs Office and PMA 265, the Navy's F/A-18 program office, to lay out their plans for foreign sales.

Farnborough: Worth the bother
Article Abstract:
Companies and governments, from local to national, shell out for exhibit space and pavilions, to say nothing about transporting aircrafts and paying for the expense of daily demonstrations. Despite the hassles of getting out to Farnborough, London still is much closer to most of the aerospace world than places in other countries.

Rome's policy of awarding helicopter contracts for government agencies without any competitions to domestic firms Agusta. It forced the European Commission to take Italy to the European Court of Justice. The commission stated that none of the conditions in the European law were satisfied in the Italian case.
