Membership of the institute ICAEW must include a balance between practice, business and the public sector, and must strengthen support and services to members, as well as students, across all sectors.

Training crisis hits profession
Article Abstract:
Training facilities for chartered accountants in the UK could reach crisis point in the next few years as major institutes struggle to find places for new students. Statistics collected by Accountancy magazine suggest that the ICAEW's plan to encourage smaller and medium-sized firms, in particular, to train more students is likely to solve the severe lack of available training places.
