Building your own treasury software
Article Abstract:
Middle-market treasury managers can plan models for programming treasury software, and gain benefits of personal computers (PCs) in time saving and decision accuracy. PC objectives must be set, such as gathering bank detail, and confirming transactions, and then a decision as to whether to make or buy the software must be made. Making software means modeling data so the PC can calculate as requested. Design phases include: treasury cash book, forecasting, and decision-making options. Cyro Industries (Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey) opted to develop its own treasury software, in-house. Cyro's ongoing software development project is described.
