Bring the Marine Prowlers home
Article Abstract:
The EA-6B Prowler, which provide airborne electronic warfare capabilities to US air forces, are considered to be national assets because of their combat usefulness. These same usefulness, which has been tested in various conflicts around the world, however, has caused the US Marine Corps the operational control of the Prowlers. Unfortunately, this development diverts the Prowlers from their original intended use, the support of Marine air-ground task forces operations.

Let's launch a super COD
Article Abstract:
The US Navy should seriously consider Northrop Grumman's updated, re- engined version of the C-2 military transport and cargo aircraft in preparation for the impending retirement of a number of aircraft in the fleet. The Greyhound 21, as the Super COD (carrier on-board delivery) is called, is based on the current C-2 platform but with structural improvements that would give the aircraft an airframe life of 15,000 flight hours and 36,000 landings.
