Corporate clients have long been overlooked by cellular telephone companies in their marketing efforts. The wireless industry has failed to segment the market and has been too oriented toward selling airtime instead of marketing business solutions. Thanks to stiffer competition, these marketers are finally recognizing the value of this long-ignored market and launching marketing initiatives offering service packaged designed especially for corporations.

The advantage of PCS over other wireless communications systems is its ability to prescribe a single number that users can use to receive and transmit information anywhere.
