Characterizing human hand prehensile strength by force and moment wrench
Article Abstract:
A technique to measure prehensile agility and strength is proposed. Topics include the traditional technique in which human hand capabilities have been measured, the manner in which the proposed technique uses force and moment wrench capability, and the advantage of the proposed technique for ergonomic research of complex hand movements.

Comparison of measurement methods for quantifying hand force
Article Abstract:
The study is conducted to determine the characteristics of and the relationship between, exposure assessment methods to quantify hand force. It is concluded that hand force exposure assessment method should therefore be calibrated and tested for each type of hand activity before use.
