The company's pipeline business has been affected by recession as have other companies involved in this activity, and a recovery could bring growth of between 5% and 10% for 1997. Operating profit from the company's pipeline division is forecast at some 5.4 million pounds sterling for 1996 by Williams de Broe. The high-pressure water division could break even in 1997, analysts forecast.
