Jumper: Cutting Raptor might not save money
Article Abstract:
US Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. John Jumper stated that the proposed cuts in the F/A-22 Raptor fighter program might not save any money, as it would have to spend out for alternatives to the Raptor. He notified that if the number of Raptors were reduced then they would be requesting the Congress for something new to fill in for those capabilities.
