Article Abstract:
The conservative US legislators and President George W. Bush have launched a moral attack on cloning just as human-animal chimeras have starting providing insights into fundamental scientific questions about human disease and consciousness. If passed, Senator Sam Brownback's Human Chimera Prohibition Act of 2005 would outlaw anyone developing chimeras and would criminalize the production of human embryonic stem (hES) cell lines and their use for future therapies.

Boutiques reborn in 2003
Article Abstract:
The small investment banks, which are also called as boutique firms have reemerged in 2003, which would benefit the biotechnology firm by providing options for initial public offering (IPO) that would result in the exit of venture capitalists (VC) from existing investments and diverting the money into new startups. Boutiques provide the best opportunity for biotech companies for starting IPOs and secondary public offerings.
