Does poor legal enforcement make households credit-constrained?
Article Abstract:
The influence of differences in legal enforcement of creditor rights on the allocation of credit to households in Italy is analyzed by theory and by trial and error method. The method also shows the effects of the judicial system on the credit-constraints.
