Comptroller Civilian Career Management Program

Article Abstract:

The Comptroller Civilian Career Management Program (CCCMP) introduced a Management Information System (MIS) in 1983. The 1983 interview cycle was established in November and scores were sent in December. Notification of the executive cadre has been made. Executive career positions are categorized, as career broadening, cadre reserved, and career essential. The Central Skills Bank is currently used to handle employees for difficult to hire spots. Training and development procedures for executive cadres are featured.

The Financial Systems Division (ACF) has thirty- three employees, eight of whom are accountants. Their job is the development modification and maintenance of the Base-Level General Accounting and Finance System (GAFS), as well as the Automated Travel Record Accounting System (ATRAS). These systems are analyzed, as are the General Accounting Systems Branch (ACFA), and the Cost Interface Systems Branch (ACFB). Branch chiefs are listed and management visibility enhancement programs are reviewed.
