Computers of all sizes propel sales force automation
Article Abstract:
Mounting competition in business is altering sales force automation efforts. Companies continue to increase spending for sales force automation systems. Expenditures for these systems are expected to reach $1.5 billion by 1995. Companies have also become more selective in choosing information systems. There is great demand for systems that can help firms process customer information. Firms also put more emphasis on sales force automation systems that mesh field sales efforts with those of internal sales. Clearly, new trends in sales automation also mirror changes in business marketing.
