Consumer education programs for mature consumers
Article Abstract:
By the year 2010, one out of seven people in the United States is expected to be 65 years old or over. This growing segment's purchasing power expected to be between $60 and $200 billion annually will have an impact on the marketing industry, thus, the importance of launching consumer education for mature consumers to disseminate information, modify perceptions, and promote a change in behavior.

The effectiveness of credit-card regulation for vulnerable consumers
Article Abstract:
Research indicates that consumers lack adequate knowledge regarding credit cards, suggesting that the industry should become active in educating consumers to avoid government regulation. Data were obtained from rural and urban college students focusing on subjective knowledge, objective knowledge, and product usage.
