Tecumseh takes control over Motor
Article Abstract:
M.I.C.B. (Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic), holding engineering company, has sold a part of Motor Jikov (Czech Republic) to Tecumseh Product Company (US). The price of nearly a 100% stake in the firm was not reported. M.I.C.B. will use proceeds from the sale for a decrease in its credit burden. Tecumseh bought the bigger part of Motor Jikov, which was excluded to a new firm named Motoco (Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic), and wants to manufacture engines and carburetters for small agricultural tractors on the premises. Tecumseh was not interested in the remaining part of Motor Jikov, which manufactures components for the automotive industry.
