Cray Electronics saw a drop in its share price following a profit warning in April 1995. Cray Communications has been affected by problems with product expansion which have led to losses. The company has been left with property surplus to requirements and this is reflected in property provisions as part of Cray's restructuring costs. The company is likely to report a loss for full-year 1995 to 1996 but Cray's position could improve with a new finance director and chairman.

However it is facing problems including the US Department of Justice prosecution and the extreme wealth of several of its employees.
