Prospects for Euro-Indian space cooperation
Article Abstract:
India has several opportunities to enter into joint space ventures with Europe, but only after it can resolve the issues of technology transfer. Launch capabilities, telecommunications, and disaster warning satellites make India a prospective partner for the European Union countries. Steps need to be taken to resolve past complaints and misunderstandings to make use of these opportunities. Europe also needs to be prepared to purchase competitively available Indian components for the success of such ventures.

Commercializing the International Space Station
Article Abstract:
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) current commercialization push follows long standing US government policy of investment in transportation infrastructure, tax and other financial incentives. NASA's budget has declined but there is support for commercialization of piloted space. The International Space Station Commercialization (ISCC) Study has been seeking perspectives on the commercialization of human orbital space flight, in particular to the International Space Station.
