'Can't Let Go' campaign helps increase Best Buy packages
Article Abstract:
The News Tribune newspaper implemented its 'Can't Let Go' campaign in response to declining 'Best Buy' private party sales. The campaign, which ran from Sep 1998, to fall 1998, was the product of the effective collaboration of the paper's classifieds, graphics and marketing units. The News Tribune's 'Can't Let Go' campaign, which featured good layouts and compelling graphics, resulted in a substantial increase in the sale of the 'Best Buy' packages for the succeeding months.

NIE unites community
Article Abstract:
The Belfast Telegraph newspaper has the distinction of being the only Northern Irelend-based periodical to be involved in Newspapers in Education (NIE). This is due to the newspaper's unique acceptability to both of the province's Catholic and Protestants groups. The NIE program is aimed at fostering cooperation between Catholic and Protestant schools through such initiatives as joint newspaper publications and school features.
