Inter-National Research Institute, Inc., Reston, Va. is being awarded a $47,499,999 single cost-plus-award fee, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to provide the technical support in producing Version 4.0 and future versions of the Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE). The estimated amount for the base year is $14,327,843. The initial period of performance is 12 months, with two optional 12-month periods for a total of three years. This is a follow-on for a contract ending on Feb. 28, 1999, and a sole source procurement. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, National Capital Region, is the contracting activity (DCA100-99-D-4000).
