Deltron fights back on European road
Article Abstract:
Deltron Electronics reported a drop in profit for 1998-1999, and has had problems in raising funds for restructuring and expansion, but a recovery has been evident in 2nd half 1999. Deltron has acquired C and K Components, a distributor in Germany, and this is a move toward a pan-European operation. The company is also expanding in Ireland through Roxborough Electronics, which has set up a distribution channel. The company could achieve a pre-tax profit of 3.7 million pounds sterling for 1999-2000, according to brokers.
