Four executives have taken advantage of this plunge and acquired a total of 41,770 shares ranging from $12.02 to $13.50 per share from Feb. 27 to Mar. 24, 1997. Director Ronald Greene accumulated 34,770 shares while Director William Price bought 3,000 shares in their first open-market buy. Meanwhile, Officer of Subsidiary Matthew Deso and Director William Stanton purchased 2,000 shares each.

Stefan Pfander purchased 2,950 shares. Both volumes of shares were acquired at $50.50-$51 between May 9-16, 1996. Shares have dipped from $60.25 in Mar. 1996 to $50 in Jun. 1996 but analysts remained optimistic about shares of food processing firms with strong product lines.
