Researchers have designed a sensitive nonradioactive, high-throughput assay for estrogens and xenoestrogen detection, which could be of value in identifying these compounds in the environment. Diagram of estrogen pathway transduction is included.

Bioassay of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) using microcantilevers

Different microcantilever arrays have been useful in detecting prostate cancer. These microcantilevers could be useful in the future analysis of DNA hybridization, protein-protein binding, protein interactions with DNA and drug development.
