Article Abstract:
Speakers at the National Investor Relations Institute's annual conference in San Francisco, CA, from Jun 12, 2000-Jun 14, 2000, were in consensus in telling meeting participants that companies ought to share information including bad news with investors. One speaker noted that involving investors as partners and sharing information with them would attract a higher-quality shareholder base. This is especially true of Internet companies.
