Dutch treat for profits
Article Abstract:
Vega is a software systems engineer that will see a growth in profit that is slower than forecast by markets. Growth dropping to 195% from 25% is not a serious problem and the company forms part of a consortium that has won a contract for training software for the Nimrod aircraft. Vega should also benefit from the acquisition of Selmers, a Dutch concern involved in systems software for process automation. The acquisition should boost Vega's profit to 5.4 million pounds sterling for 1997 to 1998.
