Effects of training and experience on perception of hazard and risk
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to show that how proficient at a machining task, where proficiency was gained through both training and past experience, influence the perceived hazard and risk while observing Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining. The results indicate that trained participants relied on auditory cues to diagnose the potential hazard and risk whereas the untrained participants perceived the potential hazard more incorrectly.

The effect of feedback training on lumbosacral compression during simulated occupational lifting
Article Abstract:
The effectiveness of the two different modes of feedback training, concurrent electromyography (EMG) feedback and verbal post-lift feedback, was compared by using the peak lumbosacral compression as the criterion measure. The results indicate that the group receiving verbal acceleration feedback reduced lumbosacral compression, during simulated occupational lifting, significantly more than the control group.

Study of the effectiveness of a participatory ergonomics intervention in reducing worker pain severity through physical exposure pathways
Article Abstract:
A study incorporated a high-quality experimental design to investigate a participatory ergonomics programme's effectiveness in reducing worker physical demands, perceived effort and pain severity levels. The findings point towards the importance of the intensity of change in reducing exposures.
