Emergent behavior of growing knowledge about molecular interactions
Article Abstract:
Several large-scale properties inherent to the growing body of knowledge about molecular interactions is analyzed using interactions among different types of macromolecules and small molecules as a field of interest, automated text-mining technology and a large collection of full-text research articles. Results reveal that the analysis highlights strong similarities between the biomedical knowledge growth and the evolution of scientific collaboration netwdorks.
