Engineering a mouse metallothionein on the cell surface of Ralstonia eutropha CH34 for immobilization of heavy metals in soil
Article Abstract:
Researchers from Spain described the use of Ralstonia eutropha, a metal-resistant bacterial strain, to target the metallothionein protein found in mice. The experiment was conducted to better understand the processes involved in the bioremediation of toxic metals from contaminated soils.
