Exercise aims for 'friendly fire' prevention
Article Abstract:
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is conducting a joint exercise in the Camp Lejeune's Combat Town for testing the new combat identification technology that will assist in identifying enemy vehicles and avoid firing on their own. During this exercise, tests of the different prototypes of the combat identification technology, will be carried out by the Marines and their other coalition partners, as the services feels that the utilization of these technologies could assist in reducing the occurrences of friendly fire incidents.
