Explaining outcomes in competition among foreign multinationals in a focal host market
Article Abstract:
Two hypothesis and a derivative conceptual framework is proposed, based on a study in Brazil, that can explain outcome patterns in competition among foreign multinational enterprises (MNEs) in a given host market. This hypothesis is developed above three avenues for new research namely empirical, theoretical, and managerial.

Does country matter?
Article Abstract:
Multinational corporations and the extent to which country effects explain the variation in the performance of foreign affiliates are examined. The findings indicate that country effects are as strong as industry effects, following affiliate effects and corporate effects.
