Article Abstract:
United Energy increased gas and petroleum production by 62% to 1,310 barrels of petroleum equivalent on average daily in 1995, and aims to raise this figure to 2,000 in 1996. The company's reserve base also increased in 1996, and United Energy should benefit from a rise in gas and petroleum prices. The company has also received a settlement worth $2 million relating to a legal claim. The company's profit is forecast at 600,000 pounds sterling for 1996 by Peel Hunt.
