Business-to-business marketers are employing various ways to cut their Internet spending in light of the rising costs of World Wide Web development. One of the easily-adoptable ways in keeping Web development costs down is to design a simple yet functional site with only a few pages containing but basic information for customers. Doing away with outsourcing in designing Web sites, using brand logos and designs that are already being used in company marketing and adopting a strategy in going online are some other ways to cut Web site development expenses.

Marketers ease customer fears; quake's jolts only temporary

Many sectors have expressed concerns regarding possible supply line disruptions due to the recent earthquake in Kobe, Japan. To calm such fears, many business-to-business marketers are initiating extra efforts to reassure customers that the situation is manageable and that any supply interruptions would be minimal. The airport in Kobe did not suffer any damage but the city's port has been closed and shipping lines are not accepting cargo to and from the facility in the meantime.

Intel wipes out surfing the 'Net
Article Abstract:
Intel Corp. appears to have not mastered the art of surfing on the Internet. The company, which first learned about its Pentium problems via cyberspace conversation, issued a memo from Intel CEO Andrew Grove using the e-mail address of another Intel executive. Notwithstanding this 'electronic faux pas,' the network provides a real-time public relations channel for gathering customer data, information dissemination and monitoring competitors.
