Video training offers the telephone sales representative an advantage over traditional over-the-phone sales campaigns. The prospect, normally wary of the canned talk routines of the past, reacts more favorably to the telephone sales rep with genuine knowledge of his needs. Video and film training offer the telemarketing manager an effective means to conduct training in real selling situations intended to gain and hold the prospect's attention.

Shortly thereafter, customers are contacted and asked about the product or service and if they wish to make a purchase. A description of this new technique and how it can be used is presented.
